A new international initiative, AIDEA (Artificial Intelligence for a New Design Education Approach), has officially launched under the Erasmus+ programme. Running from December 2025 to August 2028, the project brings together eight partners across Europe to rethink how design is taught in higher education.
As generative AI reshapes creative industries, AIDEA aims to bridge the gap between traditional craftsmanship and emerging technologies. By combining hands-on skills, artificial intelligence, and human-centered thinking, the project sets out to prepare a new generation of designers for a rapidly evolving world.
