2. Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

We process your personal data strictly in accordance with European data protection laws. Depending on how you interact with our website (e.g., subscribing to newsletters, filling out contact forms, or registering for events), the legal basis for processing your data is:

  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR): By voluntarily providing your information through our website forms or accepting specific cookies, you give us explicit consent to process your data for the designated purposes. In the context of the AIDEA project (co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union), certain data may be retained for the entire duration of the project and the subsequent mandatory institutional auditing and evaluation periods required by the European Commission, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymized.

4. Data Processors and International Data Transfers

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Your data is processed only by the authorized partners within the AIDEA project consortium and trusted technical service providers (such as website hosting and IT support) acting as Data Processors under strict confidentiality agreements.

All personal data is processed and stored within the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA). We do not transfer your personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA.

5. Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority

In addition to your rights to access, rectify, or erase your personal data (Article 15-17 GDPR), you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority pursuant to Article 77 GDPR if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection regulations.

You may contact your local national supervisory authority or the authority responsible for the Data Controller.

6. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

We do not use your personal data for automated individual decision-making, nor do we engage in any profiling activities as defined under Article 22 of the GDPR.
